The short version. This website has no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies and no forms. We only receive personal data when you choose to email us or book a call, and we use it only to talk to you about working together.

Clipnaut is operated by Lukáš Lhotský, company ID (IČO) 29517958. He is the controller of the personal data described here.

Visiting this website
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and the pages load nothing from other companies' servers. Fonts and all other files are part of the site itself.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data on our behalf, mainly your IP address and details of the request, and keeps it in its logs for a limited time. If Cloudflare needs to check that a visit is not automated, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a working and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
When you email us or book a call
- Email: your name, email address and whatever you write to us.
- Booking a call: bookings run through Calendly. We receive your name, email address, time zone and anything you enter in the booking form. Calendly processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy notice.
We use this data to reply to you, hold the call and prepare an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our clipper course
Our clipper course is a separate website that is also run by us and links to this policy from its footer. It has no forms, no sign-up and no analytics. It is hosted on Netlify, which processes your IP address and details of the request in its logs to deliver the pages and keep them secure, on the same legal basis as above. Your progress through the course modules is saved only in your own browser and is never sent to us. See Netlify's privacy policy.
If you join as an editor
Campaigns run on Whop and support runs on Discord. Both are independent services that handle your account data under their own privacy policies. From them we see what is needed to run a campaign, such as your username and the clips you submit.
Who we share data with
Only with the providers we need to run the business: our email provider, Calendly and our hosting providers Cloudflare and Netlify. Some of them are based in the United States and transfer data under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to working together are deleted within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep contract and invoicing records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, for its correction or deletion, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Ours is the Office for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic (uoou.gov.cz).
